Presence of a palpable and resectable fibrosarcoma (or any other solid tumor) that is at least 1-2 cm in one dimension.

Sound general health of the patient.

Absence of an active infection and febrile state in the patient.

Considering that it takes 6-8 weeks after start of vaccination for the build-up of an effective immunity, the participating veterinarian is advised to exclude the very aggressive cancers.
